- I read that this device will not work with plasma tvs ?????????????It doesn't mention plasma tvs in the instructions so it possibly doesn't work with them. My tv is an ordinary flat screen tv, but I was unable to work the device from the scart lead option and had to use the alternative option the instructions gave for using the device through a microphone, which does work well. Without the device I can't hear the tv at all it just means I have to watch tv wearing earpieces. Sorry I can't be more help about the device.
- Does this device enable others in the room to listen to the TV at the sametime at normal volume?Yes thats why its so good, my wife can put the tv on the sound level for her and being deaf I can hear with the EchoLink tv listener at the sound level I want, I prefer to use headphones than the neck loop and I prefer to use my own headphones than the ones that came with it, its very good, after buying one I found out that some social services in some parts of the country including where I live Merseyside provide them for free
